Pharmacon's studio 2007

Last update: May 2nd 2007
Here is the equipment  owned by either Pharmacon or Atomick, or both (a.k.a Nihontribe, Urban Sound Designers, Tyrell Corp...)

Pics of really rare stuff we had
here.

Roland System 700 (former system, until Dec. 2006):

Roland System 700 (new system, since Dec. 2006):

The beast ! Great machine...Love the synth, love the Sequencer !

System 700 module 715A mounted in a case with a PSU to power it up.
Makes a really nice Multimode filter/Audio mixer to tweak your samples or drum machines

Modcan System:

Eurorack System:

Only the Bananalogue's at the moment but soon other modules should fill in the space. Note the Ad Infinitum multiple rack...Very nice !

Roland System 100M:

Only a very compact yet powerful system: Module 111 (perhaps the only one on earth), Module 110 (s/n: 0001) & Module 140 (s/n: 0004)
Compact but well featured: 2 VCO, 2 VCF, 1 VCA, 2 ADSR & 1 LFO.

Roland System 100:

Only the Model 101 & Model 102...Not quite close to each other but still can crosspatch them.

SMS Mars System:

Great little modular ! Love the look...and the sound !!!
Also here are some effects rack:
Sony DPS-D7, Boss CE-300 Super Chorus & Boss DE-200 Digital Delay.

Drum machines:

The classic 909...A must have !!

Another House/Techno legend...TR-727.
Some more effects rack:
Sony DPS-V55 & Boss DE-200 Digital Delay

Rare digital drum machine from Japan: Jugg Box DPM-48 (also known as Sakata DPM-48)
The sounds are really nice actually but it is a bit tedious to program. (Note the
Korg WaveStation SR, one of the 2 digital synths in the home studio)

Misc.:

Mixer Mackie 1642 VLZ Pro & patch bays

Alesis MMT-8 sequencer & Roland TB-303...Aciiiid !!!

Another classic...Roland SH-101 (red).
I have a blue one too. Pics coming soon.

Yamaha SY85...The other digital synth in my home studio. Great machine !
The SY has a RAM memory which allows you to MIDI dump samples.
I edit all my samples in Soundforge then dump them into the SY.
The samples can be used like any ROM waveform which means you can apply the SY's multimode resonant filters on them.
Really cool feature !

Roland RE-101 Space Echo. The RE-201's little brother. The same echo machine minus the spring reverb.
Since there's a great spring reverb in the System 700, I don't miss the RE-201's one.

SCI Pro-One...Despite the condition... Sounds great !

Roland MC-4A's...The main sequencers !!
